"under-rated"
A top notch product. The Gait Sentinel is by far the best goalie head on the market today. Though it may be lacking in the overall size and area, it makes up for it in durability and lightness. Also the range of stringing variations offered by the well placed holes is cool. Once it is strung the pockets break in nicely and form a nice channel, similar to the Nemesis but placed more to the back like an eclipse. Overall gait did an awesome job on this head, I recommend it to any goalie looking for a little help from his wand. |

"bud petit"
Bud Petit was at my camp and had one of these. it real nice with db803. it so light I thought it was an attack shaft.*****(bud was so cool)*****and if you don't know who he is, he is going to be UVAs starting goalie next year when Kip Turner leaves. Real nice goalie head. If he likes it you will to. |

"Great!"
I have played with probably all of the goalie heads out there and I have to say this one is my favorite. Now I will not say it is better or cooler than other sticks. Nope, I will merely say that this one fits my style of goalie great. So, if you are like me, then you should consider this head. First of all, this stick is light. I love light goalie sticks because then it is just that much easier for you to be fast with the stick. Second, this is very important, is durability. Out of my past two seasons of starting varsity, last year I broke two eclipses at the beginning and three nemesis. That put me down a lot, because I had to keep going in and getting another. But this season, I started out with a Sentinel and it is still in one piece. Granted, that is not saying they won't break or what not, but my Sentinel has held up great. No cracks, breaks, just a few scratches. Finally, and this is my favorite part, is the throat. I love to have control over my stick, and the special throat gives me that control. It gives me the ability to feel the stick move, put more power into my saves (which will make it faster without sacrificing control of the stick), and to move by hands better when going down. However, if there is one bad thing it is the size. One thing I have noticed is that the bottom of the head (just above the throat where net starts) is smaller than that of the Eclipse or Nemesis. But, where this is small is made up for near the scoop...it is actually larger at the top than it looks, so when the bottom is smaller, it gives you more control and doesn't contract from saves. Overall, I think the Sentinel is a great head. It has worked for me and I have yet to notice any significant problems. |

"Ups n Downs"
It's a great head. It's as stiff as a Nemesis and lighter than an Eclipse. The shorten throat allows for good hand placement. On the down side, the throat opening is a bit wide and might become wobbly on most shafts. The scoop is at a really high angle, so when stringing, you should lay the mesh over the stringing holes for a smooth release. Stringing the top could get confusing. Another negative is that there are no holes at the throat to tie off the mesh. You would either have to drill your own or tie it off around the throat. It's a good head, but still needs some prefecting. |

"good head"
It is a light goalie head, big, and easy to string. This is one of the best goalie heads on the market. |
